Jewish Mysticism & Donkeys..

Today we started off by hiking down Mount Arbel in the Galilee.  It was a beautiful hike with some amazing overlooks!  From there, we headed to the mystical city off Tzfat and where Jewish mysticism started many years ago.  We had the chance to speak with Avraham Lowenthal who spoke with the group about Kabbalah  and emphasizing how much our names have such deep meaning in our lives. We moved on to Sheva Chaya's gallery where students witnessed glass blowing and heard about her very own story from being on IST many years ago, making Aliyah, getting involved in artwork as well as Kabbalah.  Everyone had the chance to do a bit of shopping and hitting places like the Tzfat Candle Factory, shops, etc.  We finished off the day by dressing up and riding donkeys and enjoying a very festive meal at K'Far Kedem!
